OPEN is a machine tools manufacturer with excellent mechanical, structural and electronic features.

High-accuracy and high-speed machines, up to 5-axes controlled simultaneously, of which 3 linear and 2 rotary, managed by top-of-the-range numerical control with advanced operator interfaces, designed to be included in Industry 4.0 projects.

Our Mission

The passion for mechanics, combined with the desire to undertake new challenges of a group of people with proven experience in the machine tools world, created the conditions for the born of OPEN at beginning of 2020.

OPEN aims to design and manufacture excellent "made in Italy" machine tools, as well as to provide services of turnkey, automation, maintenance and sale of used machines.

From TECNO CONTROL to OPEN

The roots of OPEN date back to 1986, when the entrepreneur Mario Montanaro founded his first company for the promotion, sale and maintenance of machine tools, TECNO CONTROL.

In a few years he consolidated a fleet of over 1200 machines installed and serviced in the regions of Piemonte, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta, and became exclusive dealer of excellence brands such as MORI SEIKI, DMG MORI and HAAS.

Vertical machining center AUCTOR 643

Auctor 643 is a CNC vertical machining center, figured, designed, engineered, and manufactured in Italy by Open srl.

During the design phase the structure was submitted to FEM analysis, allowing a precise study of the basement reaction in case of very high accelerations.

The machine, entirely made of seasoned cast iron, has a bridge structure particularly rigid for accuracy machining of the highest quality.

Auctor 643 was born as a 3-axis machining Center but, thanks to its design and the latest generation control Fanuc 0i-MFP, it can be easily implemented with a 4th axis, or 4th and 5th axis continuous rotary table, totally managed by the numerical control

Rigid structure

The machine, entirely made of seasoned cast iron, has a bridge structure particularly rigid for accuracy machining of the highest quality.

Accuracy and speed

Thanks to its acceleration, Auctor 643 is particularly suitable for sectors where execution speed and accuracy are in first place.

Tool magazine

The tool magazine lodged inside the machine is completely isolated from the work area, and allows to house up to 30 HSK-A63 tools.
